August 9, 2026

Find out with us who dressed the beautiful Blackpink at the Coachella Festival 2023.

Blackpink were truly the revelation of the Coachella Festival, where they dominated the stage right from the impressive entrance wearing hanbok (Korean traditional dress) design by Kumdanje in collaboration with Ouwr South Korean brand that deals with fabrics and embroidery.

The design is inspired by cutting cheolik style of long jacket that military officers wore from the Goryeo period to the Joseon period.

The hanbok have a black base where the ten symbols of longevity have been expertly embroidered with metal threads to Lisa, colorful motifs danchong For Rose, nature and stars emblems for Jenny and peonies symbol of royalty for Jisoo. The South Korean jewelry designer also collaborated Remm who created beautiful original butterfly-shaped brooches with pearl applications, called "Navillera“.

Three of Blackpink have chosen a well-known fashion house that represents Italian excellence in the world: Dolce & Gabbana, who created for them very precious looks strictly in black and pink, suitable for leaving their mark in the combination of fashion and music.

All the girls wore bias-cut handkerchief skirts in pink, which gave graceful romanticism to the look.

In my opinion, every South Korean band is remembered by the iconic outfits with which they present themselves on certain occasions, such as award ceremonies or performances, and Blackpink's look at Coachella 2023 will certainly remain imprinted in our minds for a very long time.
