Korean Week: interview with SeoulMafia and Xinuz

August 9, 2026

23 October 2022, Rome. For many it could have been any date on any day but for the enthusiasts of K-pop and for Kotaㄹia, it was an unforgettable day.

As veterans will know by now, lKorean Cultural Institute organized the so-called Korean Week in Rome, a week focused exclusively on Korea in all its aspects, from cooking courses to dance workshops, workshops, exhibitions and shows.

The collaborators of Kotaㄹia, they had the opportunity to participate in the viewing of  “K-POP TALK & DANCE” where many dancers performed strictly K-pop choreographies showing their constant commitment and dedication.

Two very special guests were also present at this main event: YouTuber Marco Ferrara, better known as SeoulMafia, who showed us his talent as a host,  and Xinuz dancer who has worked and works as a backup dancer for very important artists, listing just a few: BTS, NCT, Stray Kids etc…

Before the start of the event however, thanks to the Korean Cultural Institute, Kotaㄹia had the honor of being able to interview SeoulMafia and Xinuz thus having the opportunity to get to know the two guests better.

Are you curious to find out more about Marco and Xinuz? Then run and see the interview on Kotaㄹia's Youtube channel! The interview delves into SeoulMafia's past and then goes on to talk about the publication of his book: “It's all K-pop's fault”.

It also delves into what it really means to be a k-pop dancer until it becomes a real job of sweat and sacrifice.

I don't want to spoil much because I don't want to ruin the surprise but know that they are both exquisite and very helpful people ready to put you at ease and answer your every question without thinking twice!

Having said that, I leave you to watch the interview but first the dutiful, indeed very dutiful, thanks.

We at Kotaㄹia wholeheartedly thank the Korean Cultural Institute which allowed this wonderful meeting and Mr. Choi who made himself available as a translator during the interview. Marco for the beautiful words spoken during the video, Xinuz for making us appreciate even more what the art of dance is.
