If you are passionate about music from Korea you cannot fail to know i The Rose, a rock band made up of four guys who conquered the entire world of international music with their World Tour Dawn to Dusk.
The Rose, contrary to what one expects, is not a K-pop crew, but a rock band of four charismatic guys, Woosung (electric guitar frontman), DoJoon (guitar, piano and synthesizer), Jaehyeong (low) e Hajoon (drums).
The boys have been passionate and destined for music since 2015 when three of the four members were still trainees in agencies that trained Kpop idols, they began playing their unreleased songs on the streets in the famous music district of Seoul Hongdae, . Woosung was the last member to join the band, and within a few years it would have been the beginning of their career for the boys which would have led them, thanks to the first single Sorry, to be quickly appreciated at home but above all abroad with the new name The Rose.
From 2017 to today, The Rose have collected many awards and appreciation, so much so that they have also earned some Billboard rankings (remember that Snooze one of Woosung's songs together with Suga of BTS and the Japanese composer Sakamoto, became part of the 80 most beautiful songs in history).

When the European dates came out, I noticed with pleasure that Milan was chosen as a stop on the tour this year too, but my feeling didn't last long because I was overwhelmed by the anxiety of not finding available tickets, so taken back by a euphoric bipolarism I downloaded the app dedicated to the band so as to keep up to date on tickets and events, and chat a bit with the international fans.
Luckily, my friends and I all managed to get a ticket so we could live this wonderful experience together of meeting up in Milan (it was a fantastic two days among Korean restaurants, soju and makkolì at 3 in the morning).
The queue for the single seat usually starts very early, for those who want, around 7 in the morning, but don't be discouraged you will always see the band at Alcatraz clearly in whatever queue you find yourself in, the important thing is to live it peacefully and not start a war to get to the barricades first. Furthermore, the nice thing, paradoxically, is the queue for a day out at the venue where the band will perform, as I met a lot of people that I met in the various Korea-loving groups, and also made new friends, I must say all very nice and in total serenity, we often kept the place to change places for a quick meal or to go back to the hotel.
I must say I was lucky, as I participated in the Meet and Greet, where the band offers a soundcheck (the Rose are really good musicians) and the audience also has the opportunity to intervene with questions to which the boys will answer, very often amused, in a manner that is always kind and at ease with their fans. The Roses were very sweet as always and also appreciated the small gifts offered by them Black Roses (fandom name).
The performance: I can't put into words how beautiful it was. Obviously it's a rock band so pure music dominates the evening. Woosung in my opinion he has one of the most particular voices on the international music scene, when you listen to him live he is impeccable and capable of touching your soul, in addition to the fact that in the show he performs two wonderful guitar solos in Definition of Ugly e Shift.
Doojoon he is a multifaceted genius as he plays everything from piano to acoustic and electric guitars and synthesizer. Hajoon e Jaehyeong they delighted us with their solo vocals in I.L.Y. they really are singing talents even if you don't often hear them on records.

This is the message that The Rose bring on their world tour, and it's true! After a concert like this you feel your soul regenerated, when you listen to a song or a bass line that you like, perhaps some of your problems are alleviated. Seeing so much passion for a musical project can only trigger just as much passion in listening to it and supporting it.
I listened to The Rose before the concert and I came out as even more of a fan than before, I sincerely hope that they return to Italy with even more dates and stops for the next tour.
